Creative Lead Jens Kronvold Frederiksen, "The reason for not doing it was that the minifigures are made out of many different types of plastic, because they need to have different abilities and characteristics," Design Director Michael Lee Stockwell explained, "Some have to be flexible, some need to use clutch power and whatnot," and continued, "So the hands are different material than the heads, for example." The designers revealed the Force Ghost minifigures as a result of changes to the company's transparent plastic.

First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (75101) is one of my favorites here. Now we’re getting into the medium- and large-sized sets. The First Order Snowspeeder (75100) retails for $39.99 and comes with two First Order Stormtrooper minifigs and a First Order Stormtrooper Officer minifig. We’ve been waiting to see what Lego was going to roll out, and now the sets are here and they are EVERYTHING WE DREAMED OF. It’s Force Friday, and that means brand new Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise is appearing all over the place.
